reloading woot page just causes more server lag. many wootoff checkers have been made that do everything for you. see http://woot.wikia.com/wiki/Woot-Off_Checkers dont use this, less load on the servers = faster servers

Found another nearly identical script that enlarges Amazon's product images when you hover over them. I find it a bit less disruptful to the page layout because of this. Has pretty much the same quirks though...

Great work. I do see a quirk or two (images sometimes get "stuck" in their small size when rolling over), but no deal breakers anymore. Nice job on getting the fix out so quickly!

Okay, I've posted a version that pretty much works, though it's a bit quirky.

@vincer: Thanks for the bug report. I'm working on fixing this. Unfortunately, it seems that Amazon has totally rewritten the way they track alternative images. Apart from the tag feature they seem to have introduced a way to switch between sets of images (see the bed size buttons on the page you linked). After scanning through the entire 10,000 line page that you linked to I actually still haven't figured out what's going on. Since reverse-engineering their code may take a while I'm going to post a temporary version of the script that will work, but somewhat less gracefully than the old version.

I really like this script, but I've found a new bug. It breaks when one or more of the images has tags (new amazon feature?).

I would say though that you should put http://*kingdomofloathing.com/searchmall.php (I think) in the exclude category, because it interferes with onetontomato's favorite mall searches script. Other than that, it is great!

That?s a good idea. I think that I?d rather do it in some other way, though?GM_registerMenuCommand has always seemed somewhat usability-challenged to me (plus, there?s speculation on greasemonkey-dev about someday removing it). I?ll look into doing this on alt-click or something similar.

Note that I've taken the original GM_openInTab() call and exported the functionality to a function called wikiLookup(), so that all three calls do the same thing. And personally, in my installation I use window.open(), since that opens in a new tab (with my FF configuration) but also automatically focuses on the new tab.

Update: the first (non-selectable) item (e.g., "-select an item-") is now detected better.
