This is exactly what I've been looking for!

Status updates were working OK for me as well, I do think the circle thing is just myspaces fault.

I did notice the update things were working also, however Ive only seen it once and thought it was a fluke or something, so maybe things are halfway working correctly again.

Everything is working for me once again. The notifications are staying on. The one hang is that when

updated, the notifications don't 'appear'. It says you have something new, and the space appears for it,

but you have to refresh to see it. I don't mind that. Also, the Status Updates are just showing a loading

circle. I think this is MySpace's problem though, since they do appear 10% of the time.

Nice spam dude, get a frakin life.

Anyways, any of you script ninjas want to try to make this script work? Id try myself but, you know, no idea what to do haha.

Don't know what's happening, but the script has suddenly stopped working for me. So I updated it to this new beta one, and it's still not working. On either classic view or one of the new ones. As below ... updates disappear. I usually have nothing but 'loading...' showing'.

I miss not having this script working! It's my favourite one :-(

Same thing people have said below. The updates disappear as soon as the script completes running. After that you never know if you have any "new messages", "friend requests", "new birthdays", etc. unless you manually refresh the page and catch a quick look before they disappear.

I'm sure you're working on it but it would be greatly appreciated once this is fixed.

actually all the other updates are working fine, i just think it might be "refreshing" too fast...?

alright, this was working great for me for a while, but now the updates only last for a split-second, then they go away....

is there already a fix for this or should i just uninstall it and deal with it?

Hit a huge snag. Now when I refresh my page with this script, above my "Mail" box all it does is say loading and it doesn't deliver updates to me.

Have any idea what it could be? Maybe it's just an update? It seems odd cause this has been happening all day. I've been having to use myspace IM to receive my updates.

i second seifer's issue. i use myspace USA. friend updates don't show when script is loaded.

They have the content for the Friend Updates being loaded dynamically, like they did with the Update Notifications a little while back.

If it's not doing it for everyone they must be just doing it on select profiles to test it out or something... which they do a lot with mine lol. I get lots of features that appear then disappear then come back months later.

Well, I found the problem. Silly me. I reinstalled Firefox 2 and found the script works there,

so I realized that problem has to be with Firefox 3's options. Turns out you need to have third

party cookies allowed to make it work. All is good now. You might want to notify everyone of this.

Oh yeah, btw, my friend updates don't work... haven't for almost a week. (everything else works)

I'm using MySpace Australia.

The updates are visible til your script tries to update them, then I just get the little loading icon.
