Can't get this to work. I enclosed the block beginning "for (var i=0; i<candidates>

I get "error loading page...." - then the box won't go away.

I've been looking for something like this. It's a great hassle-saver. One suggestion: Add lists (commented out) of alternative servers for people in different regions.

I've been trying to hack something like this for a while. As it turns out my own version was spot on ;) but I was trying to load favicons from localhost and other sites and this failed. Slightly off-topic but does anybody have any idea what's happening there? I guess it's a browser feature? Protection against x-site scripting attacks or something?
