I have been using this script while viewing people's pics, and it works just fine. I do not notice any page zaps or missing pictures at all. If it is happening to you, please properly follow the instructions here and send me a message on MySpace. I do not even remotely frequent these comments here for bug reports of any kind. If it does appear to be a bug in the script code, I may need you to email me the source code of an affected page in order to assess the problem. |

NeedALittleHelp: Probably because their profile is private and you need to add them as a friend first. |

Hah. Interesting... I don't really think that is something that can be fixed, but should be a fairly isolated incidence. I suppose it will become an artifact of this script with future versions. Just think of it as: "The server is down, must send it an email to let it know!" ;) |

LenR: I have created a script that does just that -- but only for email addresses: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/23362 |

LenR: I have created a script that does just that -- but only for email addresses: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/23362 I wrote that script in just under an hour, so it makes you wonder just how pointless those patterns really are. But, from a spammer's perspective, it would require too much processing power and not entirely practical (for the moment) to scrape each page on the web using a script such as this. |

I made a script like this better, customizable, and with more features: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/12663 |

Donyelle: This script doesn't affect any ads or the search bar that might appear on the splash page, mainly because of its erratic layout. If you must do a search on myspace without logging in, just go directly to the search page: http://search.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=... |

Excellent script! Been looking for one like this for a while now... I love the resizable textareas. A+ on design. And I'm glad I don't need Vista fonts for it to work (I use a Mac). |

InsaneNinja: Interesting... I had never even considered the fact that other script authors might want to integrate their scripts with Add Image Links. Although I'm not so sure about the class idea, I am currently working on a neat event system that will let your script securely reload the image links at will.

Sorry for all of you who are having issues with this script. MySpace has been undergoing many nasty advertisement changes over the past few weeks, and I am waiting for it to become slightly more stable before making any major changes to the script. Most problems end up fixing themselves after a day or two. If you have a problem with a certain page, then I suggest copying the url (up to the "mytoken" part) and adding it to the exclude list for the time being until the problem is resolved. Some other known problems are:
If you see a problem that persists for over a week, please send me a message on MySpace. |

Hm, with that last post the first error message looks like:
Error: n.childNodes[3].childNodes[0].contentDocument.documentElement.innerHTML.match(/<pre>([\s\S]*)<\/pre>/) has no properties Source file: file:///.../components/greasemonkey.js Line: 443 (really wish it showed a preview) |

Can't seem to figure out why, but this script seems to fail on my mac. It's spitting out a security message for Error: n.childNodes[3].childNodes[0].contentDocument.documentElement.innerHTML.match(/([\s\S]*)<\/pre>/) has no properties Source file: file:///.../components/greasemonkey.js Line: 443Then 2 errors that look like:Error: s has no properties Source file: file:///.../components/greasemonkey.js Line: 429I'm using Greasemonkey version 0.6.9.20070507.0 and Firefox version 2.0.0.3 on a Mac. |

This is a marvelous idea, and it seems like you did a fantastic job. However, I am a little concerned with security considering the updates depend on unsafeWindow for transferring data between scripts. What is preventing a malicious website from grabbing that data and manipulating it to direct the user to install an even more malicious user script? Is there some way to load the data in a shared object that is only accessible by greasemonkey scripts? Maybe a hash that is the same throughout all greasemonkey user scripts, but is not accessible via a website's javascript? |

Wow, this was exactly what I've been looking for... |

Excellent work. You did even better than my own personal fix of this script :) My only request is to make the "MySpace -" in the title appear at the end rather than the beginning (or at least as a preference). Because if I have lots of tabs open they all say "MySpac" and it's impossible to tell them apart without hovering over them. Which is the main reason why I hate MySpace's current (lack of) titles. |

Nice idea. But it would be great if it worked on *.js files, and http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/* |

Definitely one of the most useful scripts I've seen. Nice job! |

I'm not going to argue with you here, because I am right. The original version you posted here prior to Feb 15th did not have the proper copyright info. The features you added that follow the description you gave totaled to 2 lines, yet you insist that is is worthy of calling it version 2. Then, you decide to change text on all myspace pages directing users to your personal website. But worst of all, you neglected to inform the original author about it. I appreciate you adding the copyright info, but you are still a filthy leech trying to profit off of other people's hard work without even putting in the slightest effort on your part. The open source community would have no respect for you, nor do I. |

It's a real bad thing when you steal someone else's code, change the copyright info, and direct the end user to your own personal website via a "trojan" link... And then not even inform the original author. tsk tsk, shame on you! |

The malicious code I'm talking about is right at the very top of the script (a link to the creator's website). AND the writer of this script merely copied my version and changed the data, attempting to claim it as their own. Here is the original version (that removes the Google images, I might add): http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/3890 |

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This is a hacked version of the original and contains malicious code! No few "features" have been added in this version. |

This appears to be a modified icon theme of the "MySpace - Add Image Links 2". For the original version, go here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/5767 |
