Topic: Ideas and script requests / Google Reader - Remove all read items

The Google reader works pretty well with the exception that I can't find any way to get rid (permanently) of items that have been marked read. It's irritating to have to constantly deal with old items being in the queue. Anyone have any ideas about a script that would remove read items?

Thanks Aquilax but neither would work. One did put a couple of little acorns on the screen but they didn't offer any functionality.

I've tried every script I can find that says it will make the compose window bigger for Yahoo mail. Nothing works. Maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing or maybe it can't be done. I use Outlook but my wife uses Yahoo and it bugs me to see her having to squint and type into this tiny little window when the monster screen is available.

Any help or ideas appreciated. Thanks!

I'd love a script to remove all the eBay stuff from Google searches. Couldn't find anything like that in the current scripts.
