MySpace Home - Customize it!

Jul 31, 2008

super script as always
I changed one of the resize types to better suit me, my screen is 1440x900
GM_addStyle('#col1 {width:310px !important;}');
GM_addStyle('#col2 {width:500px !important;}');
GM_addStyle('#col3 {width:450px !important;}');
GM_addStyle('#main {width:1310px !important;}');
GM_addStyle('#wrap {width:100% !important;}');
break;

I like the left column to be a little bigger, so I can put my friendspace there and it makes 2 columns of friends

Might not be very logical for a lot of people but I figured I'd post it up here in case someone was interested in using it. I originally had it alot wider but I decided I liked seeing the dripping icecream in the background

YouTube Spice it up (Blue)

love it.
it kind of looks like one of the fake youtube sites out there, very cool.
maybe try changing the white to a light grey, might look better all around.

MySpace - Enhanced Photos

I love this script so much, but one little suggestion, if you could put something in there that shows how many comments each picture has that'd be great.
a lot of the times I already know what the picture looks like so i just go to someone's album to see if there are comments (mainly cause they're picture i took so i wanna see if people are being...polite =))
either way though, super script, love it

MySpace - Home Auto-Update (beta again)

same for me about friend updates. it was working yesterday morning and afternoon, but last night it started doing the loading sign

sorry seifer. I meant making it not as tall, moving those links so it takes up less space vertically

I'm so glad you picked this up again, it looks great.
A suggestion

or something like that, just making the friendspace smaller

It looks pretty neat, but there' sno option to add the song to your own profile that I can see

haha, good to see the new screenshot.
Couple things I've noticed.
I can't tell on yours but on mine for the friend updates there seems to be a big space between the last update that it shows and the bottom of the table.
ex: http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/4868/screens...
I know I have the birthdays on homepage script enabled, but I just left it there to illustrate. It does the same thing with only yours active.

Also, when there's a friend with a picture that's extremely tall in the friendspace the "online" icon doesn't show for them. constraining them to a set height would probably be the only thing to do, and have the friendspace still looking good, seems like the scrolling friendspace I had a while back looked kind of iffy. dunno.

glad the auto-update is working well with this, I think you fixed it a while ago but I must've not had them ordered or updated right.
good work.

GmailAgenda

Is there a way to change the font size? when I have it coupled with gmail in blue 3.0 it seems big, and some of my events are too long to view with the font at it's current size.
I searched the code but i could only find font weight

Gmail in Blue v3.7

May 20, 2008

wow I didn't expect this change to be so drastic. looks great. thanks for writing it.
just some small suggestions
on the right, more space between where it says "sponsored links" and lists the number of messages (i.e. "1 - 50 of 87")
on the left side where the "folders" are, give that area a box like the chat and labels have. (compose mail/inbox/starred/chat...)
yup.
looks great, thanks.

I hadn't even noticed that applications weren't showing up with your script. But in my opinion they should be below the control panel dropdown menu.

also, is the screenshot you have up there the current one? because for me my profile picture and control panel are in the middle column, i prefer it that way, but just wondering if it should be how yours looks

oh my seifer, you're a beautiful man. You don't know how much I've been wanting to request that you or someone make a wider version, it just seems like so much space is wasted on my screen. This looks great! and my friend space looks good across the bottom, with a certain amount of friends it used move around all weird.
thansk seifer.
the new control panel is interesting too, I was about to say that there wasn't one but I just noticed it
(dropdown under personal picture for anyone else that's silly like me)

Hide MySpace Tabbed Videos (Green Box)

May 7, 2008

Not only does this work, but it's super fast, thank you for posting it.
You might want to add something about "green box" to your description, I know a lot of people search just for remove green box because that thing is annoying and a lot of people don't know what it is called.

This script isn't changing anything on my myspace home page for some reason. I've tried adding a couple more options to the included pages but nothing's working.
I don't know how much OS and firefox versions matter, but I've tried it on Mac OS X 10.5.2 and firefox 3.0.5b
I've also tried it on Windows XP and firefox 2.0

I'm happy to see you making another myspace script, customize it was my favorite one ever.

Even if a video is just embeded on another site it still gets view counts, so you're right.

I think this script is fantastic.
My suggestion would be to make the auto play and auto download options seperate.
That way the video can start downloading and I can wait until I switch to that page to start playing it.

where can I get greasemonkey 0.8

Coppermine Photo Gallery

Apr 22, 2008

Oh and it's a simple little thing, but for anyone that's installing this, make sure you add the gallery you're viewing to the included pages.
I don't think there's anyway the script creator could have made it do that automatically.

Coppermine Photo Gallery

Apr 22, 2008

I expected this to be a pageinator tpe of script, but it looks like it takes all the pictures on the page of the album you're viewing and shows them in the normal preview size...coppermine creates 3 versions of every picture you upload
mini thumbnail - for category and album preview and also lightbox
thumbnail - for when you're browsing a album
normal - for when you've selected an image

and it also keeps the full resolution, this shows the normal image.
It's a good plugin, but (at least for my album's skin (oranje)) it pushes the menu further to the right, and also it keeps the mini preview images. It'd be nice if it pageinated as well.
But it's a great script and I think I'll share it with a couple of people that might get frustrated clicking through all 126 images I take of one sporting event.
thanks

google extra

Apr 21, 2008

You asked for opinions on the fix for the videos. Just putting in that I think it's fine that it checks googlevideo now. The only difference I see is that when you choose one of the links, if it happens to be a youtube video, it just adds the sidebar onto the youtube site. It still pulls up videos by there best results so I like it.

just confirming that I'm having the same problem. still a great script unlike greyhound's saying, just a little chink in the armor.
