This works great (except not at userscripts for some reason.) I didn't think it would work because I could never get the firefox text-area resize extension enabled. I tested it at Google Docs and it worked perfectly.

I love it. Thanks!

Add http://www.livejournal.com/syn/* to exclude list to make syndicated feed registration possibility.

Useful but ugly!

To make it so you see the journals in their own style but the comment pages in your style, change the Included pages to "http://*.livejournal.com/*html*" instead of "http://*.livejournal.com/*".

I second Jules' request. If you could arrange such a script, that'd be fantastic. Thank you!

The author seems MIA so I just uploaded my version here:

Opps...it doesn't work anymore.

Could you please update the script?

It's really useful.

I fixed the problem with this script so it no longer causes empty data to be sent back to the server.

I sent the copy to the author, but in the meantime you can grab the script at:

This can breaks some forms and may cause data lose due to sending empty data back to the server. Otherwise a nice idea.

This makes browsing with a migraine so much more doable. It seems everyone and their dog is using white backgrounds, and while pretty, when you have a migraine it really really hurts the eyes. This script plus a similar windows theme makes a perfect "Migraine mode" for my computer.

I've made a little modification to this cool userscript and made it works in Konqueror using my (crappy) PoC of Konqueror Userscript.

new file is here:

the koqueror plugin is here:

Black on white is much more readable than white on black. But easy to edit to reverse these. Thanks!

This is a great idea, but I had to uninstall and await a future version. I discovered that it was causing my webmail client to send out empty message bodies. I know that I could have blocked my webmail domain, but then that leaves me wondering if I will be submitting an important web form in the future and not know that it's being posted empty, a chance that I can't take.

Does not work as expected. See: http://rubyforge.org/pipermail/mongrel-users/20...

Why does this make the digg.com comment box smaller, and makes it impossible to make it wider, only taller?

Comment on My_LiveJournal_Style made Sep 10, 2006:

Hey, I was wondering if there's any way to modify this script so I can still see other people's styles when on their LJs, but I do not see their comment pages style (regardless of whether they chose to see the 'non-customised' page or the 'customised' one). Thanks!

Great little dohickey, i can already see it on this comment box!

Hmmm. Restarted Firefox, and even though the script is enabled, it does nothing. I prefer this to ForceWrap, because it does segment words better, but I can't stick with it if it doesn't work as it's supposed to. :S

Comment on Long_Word_Breaker made Aug 23, 2006:

A particular forum thread was bugging me, did a search for "wrap" and a comment of yours on http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/1847 led me here. I don't know much code, so how is this different from that one, may I ask? In any case, this worked perfectly. Thanks!
