It doesn't work anymore.
When you hover over a link it shows the correct url, but when you click it or right click it to copy it, it changes into the evil redirect.

This script messes up google shipping tracking number searches.

eg: If you search for
`9101962109104001646174`

There is a link to:
tp://www.google.com/url?q=http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/InterLabelInquiry.do%3ForigTrackNum%3D9101962109104001646174&sa=X&oi=usps&ct=title&sig=__WAN7_yuCFXeWuUTJ0oq_xYmUvTs

when it should be:
http://www.google.com/url?q=http://trkcnfrm1.sm...

Why does this make the digg.com comment box smaller, and makes it impossible to make it wider, only taller?

Wouldn't this also hide pics with html pictures in their posts?
Of course, those are likely to be spam.

Now we just need a stable adblock plus with div blocking.

Actually, you are correct. This works better than adblock in reclaiming that space.

The extended length thing seems to stop working after a few days, and now they only show the source html of my longer text.

I hate how myspace keeps editing everything.

someone should make wikispace

True, but adblock blocks iframes, scripts, etc.
It's so simple to just right-click on the ads, editing the string, then right clicking the empty space

It even works for reclaiming space from gmail ads, blocking google analytics, other analytics (traffic sites like alexa), etc.... It blocks _everything_, images, scripts, etc....

Once I discovered the power of adblock, I stopped using privoxy except for when I use the Tor onion router.

Adblock works better, and it will always work, if you block the images first, the block the iframes that contained the images. Saves bandwidth too!

Adblock works so much better than all these things, because it's edits the page before it hits the downloader/renderer, and removes those stupid iframes, and actually regains the screenspace.

Although in this instance, it can't remove the geocities frame, it can remove the ads contained in the frame. Unless someone else knows?
