Tim, do you still have problems? I have no problems with SW versions as posted. |

I use this in conjunction with the other GM scripts so that all the ads and cool people are blocked. When everything is deleted then your friends show up at the top, directly next to your profile picture. This script moves the status block down below the friends instead of deleting it altogether. It could hypothetically be moved anywhere but there was lots of extra space beneath the friends section since everything else on the right side was deleted. |

I'm not sure what this does if you're not blocking the ads already, but removing the ads using adblock or one of the gm scripts usually leaves a big header bar (125 pixels) at the top. This just downsizes so you there's less blank space--makes it look pretty. |

Well, I take back my previous comment. Things are not so straightforward as they might appear... one moment I updated the script and it was working, now it's not... maybe I need to restart... who knows--I'll fiddle with it. At any rate, I thought I would also post this url which you can adblock, which will at least keep the Cool New People frame from loading anything if the coders change their format again and break the scripts. Of course, they could change the script name too but here you go: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/js/coolNewPeopl... |

Thanks Myke... your line of code saved me a lot of time. I think I accidently updated the wrong script with that code (the other script "Cool New People Remover") but it works for both the login page and the regular MySpace pages so I'll just leave it. |

Doesn't work on the main (login) page because the Cool New People is not contained in a table (which is what the script looks for when removing elements). This might be easily modified by someone more knowledgeable than I. Also, if desired, the other Myspace scripts will just do an autologin which bypasses having to deal with the main login page entirely. |

This needs the secure gmail url (https) added as a default to the exclude list. |
