Hi again, Sorry, I'm confused. Your link points to this very script, not Arend's Folders4Gmail script. I reinstalled the one you link to (this one), but still green. Do I need to reinstall Folders4Gmail or dod you rewrite his script, post it elsewhere, but post the wrong URL? Little lost, sorry! |

Very cool. I have removed the encryption because, yeah, it's just for me. Many thanks, this is a wonderful script! In closing, if I may make a final suggestion... The only thing i did not do is change the color scheme of the Folders4Gmail scipt (the plus and minus signs). Honestly, it's out of my league to change all that's necessary... But with so many people using your script (and we all know how popular Folders4Gmail is as well), do you think that fix is something you'd be able to do for everyone to benefit? Food for thought! Again, it truly is a fantastic style you've created here. I can't praise it enough. |

Perfect, that all worked beautifully! Thanks! One final question, though... The native Gmail logo is 143x59 px. Can I change it, in your script, to 143x143 px? If so, how? Thanks! PS. Good lord, that encrypted link is looooooooooooooong... ;-) |

Wow! Great script, I just installed it for the first time, and I love it. Three quick questions, as I'm new to this particular script. 1. Is there a way for me to place my own logo in place of the blank whitespace where the Gmail logo used to be? I figured out how to get the logo back, now I'm simply curious if i can replace it!
THANKS! |

Hi mjb, You've been busy, I see! I wanted to let you know here in Comments that I have loaded up the script and it is not working for me, either. I get nothing at all after installing it. It says "HTML Signatures" and that's it. No options whatsoever. Wish I had better news... |

@mjb Sounds terrific! Unfortunately, I have so many sigs that one word titles don't do. I wouldn't know what they were! LOL! I set a default, but still get "undefined". When I try to set a default again, it still says 0. I type, say 15 to pick that sig, click OK, and still no change. Also... I have 20 signatures, and what the list is now doing (I think it started at 19 when I was creating, not sure) is that atop the list it says, "Please add a signature below...". But I can't expand the list! So if quantity is an issue, I can't remove any. Basically, I can no longer use the script. :-( I took a screenshot of it, but will have to wait until I get home to ftp the jpg to the web. 'Bout two hours from now... Are the two issues related possibly? Will post screenshot later. Thanks! Chris |

One other thing I noticed... When I compose a new mail, the word "undefined" is in the message body for some reason. I have to delete it before doing anything. Anyone else getting this? |

mjb, WOW! Nicely done, sir. This new iteration is very nice. You did a fantastic job. I love the new built-in editor so as not to have to edit the script itself. The font size, being smaller now, IS much better. But with the "edit" and "del" links, pretty much no matter what you make as a title, it turns into two lines. If the "edit" and "del" choices could be placed under an arrow (like the built-in GMail Chat), that would be nice. If only a down-arrow was at the end of the line, I think enough space would be made for a reasonably-titled sig to stay on one line. That's the only thing I would suggest changing, it's that good a script! Oh, and I think I found a bug, albeit a very minor one... If you create a signature and a title, it works fine. But then, click to edit it. You are allowed to edit the signature itself but NOT the title. Click into the title box and no cursor appears. You can double-click to highlight a word in there, but if you hit, for example, backspace that action affects GMail itself, not the box. I hope that helps you out! Great script! Chris

Hello, Excuse me for asking this, but I've had NO luck elsewhere. How does someone even write a skin for GMail?! I've tried the instructions below to no avail... Could you tell me how this is done? |

What a great script! I admit that when I downloaded the original and felt it was limited. But this is much more expansive, thanks! I wonder if a few things would be possible... Have a look at http://www.chrisbartlett.net/example.jpg so you know what I mean. Looking at that, you can see that if the NAMES are too long they flow into another line. Personally, I would very much like to make the font MUCH smaller. Is there a way I can edit this? I don't see any CSS or anything in the script code... Secondly, would it be possible to move the module this script creates above the "Invite a Friend" Module? Are these things I can do in the script or would you have to do it, mjb? Thanks! |

Hello again all, I just fixed it simply by reinstalling the script. Back to full function again. HTH! Thanks! |

I am getting the exact same thing as "wmblewett". It seems as though the "-" is not showing up. CSS problem or perhaps a deleted file from the author's website? Not the worst thing in the world, but should be an easy fix if you could please check. Thanks! |

Hello. Thought I'd report that the script hasn't worked for me (on two machines I have it installed on) for two weeks now. Is this happening to anyone else? |

This script is terrific! One question... Would it be possible to change the code so that instead of selecting "1-3", you could set short names for a saved sig? Basically, if I want to create, say 20 different signatures, it would be hard to remember what's what, but if the 1-3 selection was instead a list of short names, that would be great. I am very limited with JS and don't think I could do this myself unless it were pretty simple. |
