Digg Washer

Jul 20, 2007

thank you for this script. the amount of dupe submissions to the video section has made my visits to digg increasingly irritating.

i've got a feature request. a lot of video spamissions these days come from a small group of users promoting sites that pay for views (like flicklife). i would do a barrel roll if i could filter articles based on the user that submitted it.

Also, can you make it work with the links on iGoogle? That would make me really happy.

All in all, it's a nice script and the only one I could find that works with the 2-column format in GoogleMonkeyR. But I had to turn off the "auto load more results" option, which is too bad.

Thanks for the good work!

When the Tab Mix Plus Session Manager is enabled, then Ctrl+F1 is the shortcut for "Save this Window".

It doesn't work well with GoogleMonkeyR. It won't scroll when you go down the results, and if you scroll manually and then press j/k, it jumps back to the top of the page.

it also doesn't seem to work for most deviations posted before 2006

Why doesn't it work for the deviantWatch page?

The one I wrote does :)

...but mine isn't as good as yours. It's not actually a userscript, I have to manually paste it into the firebug console to work.

contact triplicate4 at hotmail.com if u wanna know how to get yours to work for the devwatch.

Still can't grab HD trailers any more. Can anyone else verify that the script no longer works for the HD content?

This script is great.
But I have to second Ashcroft, somethings seems to have changed at the Apple site recently. I can download regular trailer but all the HD pages freeze.

Could this be extended to cover blogspot pages (for permalink pages where all comments are shown)? That would be great and would in one step extend the number of pages the scripts can be used at a lot.
