Thank you for continuing to update this script! It is one of the best scripts ever written for Greasemonkey. Best, /s |

perhaps, as similar to the google calendar version of this script, implementing shortcut keys to toggle the hide/show functions could serve as a way around the arrow functions when google's updates break the script. =) best. /s |

i believe this script needs an update to properly work with google calendar now. as amosh mentioned, shortcut keys work, but the graphical "toggle" arrows are not visible. please update! best. /s |

i just discovered that someone was having this same issue at persistent.info. mihai has updated his version as of yesterday. here are some bits from the thread: I'm having a problem using "G" to go to any folder. I press "G" the menu comes up. I type a folder, the menu disappears, then nothing happens. Anyone else having this?

howdy sewpafly. for some reason, as of yesterday, your script started exhibiting a very odd problem. when actually coming to the point of applying a label, or going to a label, the "navigational overlay" disappears and the label does not get applied nor does navigation occur. it's like right at the moment of determining what it is supposed to apply, or where it is supposed to go, it stops. have you seen this? please resolve if possible! best. /s |

Thanks for this great idea, and almost great execution. =) There is a peculiar issue I have discovered, and it relates to the way this script utilizes display adapters or video cards. I have tested this on two different machines, one brand new and very fast, and the same issue occurs. When this script is enabled in Greasemonkey, it causes Flash video (and possibly other video in and out of the browser) to "jump" at a consistent interval of around 1.5 seconds. This occurs regardless of the tab in which the video is viewed within Firefox. Also, when I disable only this Greasemonkey plugin, I must refresh Gmail, and then the issue stops. When I reinable this plugin and refresh, it begins again. It would be great to resolve this. It is very annoying. =) Any thoughts? Best, /s |

Interesting! Thanks for checking into it. =) I actually have a feature request:
These requests are obviously Google-level requests, but if a script writer here could do that, they'd be very popular, and possible very interesting to Google as well. =) Best, /steven |

Not sure if the "glitch" was meant to be corrected on the updated on December 6th, though I've updated, and still have the issue. Best, /s |

Cipher, Thanks for this well-written and useful script. One request: Can you make the position of the "beautified buttons" move down by 1 px? I can't seem to figure out how to do that, though that will align them perfectly with other elements around them (everywhere). Best, /s |

Thanks sewpafly. Not sure if this is of any help, however, the other version of Gmail Macros 2.0 does not have this "glitch." Perhaps there is something helpful in that code? Regards, /s |

Excellent modifications, sewpafly. Thank you. Can you please fix the little glitch that causes the "More Actions" drop-down menu to pop-up briefly when applying labels? Thank you, /s |

Raffles, Would greatly appreciate an update to the latest version of Gmail. Your ad removal / maximization script is the best one out there for the older version of Gmail. Regards, /s |

Karaszi, Firstly, thank you for updating this script. I am also having the same issue with the new Gmail Macros script. I used to use both the label color and macro script successfully, and would like to continue to do so. Any chance you could address this conflict? It would be greatly appreciate. Kind regards, /s |

I second gabedibble's request. When using Gmail Super Clean, the Insert Signature link is indented against the Compose Mail link, which looks wonky. It would be tight if we could have this link removed altogether in favor of an automatic insertion. Or, give the option to have it automatic or manual by a flagged variable in the script. |

Teljj001, Could you please post exactly where your edits need to go within the script? Thanks, /s |

Awesome progress, Mark! One issue ... It seems that sometimes the signature is inserted during replies and forwards, and sometimes it will not insert. One request ... It would be great to have the insertion link in the email composition area! Thanks, /s |

I received this information from Ganesh recently: Hello,
Currently there is just one way to change the color scheme, and that is to modify the CSS data within the skin's JS file. If you are confident about editing css then you can edit the file using any text editor. And to change the background images you can run a search for the string "url(" and replace the image names that follow the string with the images that you intend to use. You can find handy CSS help here http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp In any case, I promise to release a better version of this skin once i find some time to do so. I'll try to add the color customization feature if possible. Regards,

Agree with Rohn regarding the need for a text color to be specified within the label color. Is this possible? If so, how? Also, for everyone here, check out this link to a complete HTML hex color code chart: http://www.immigration-usa.com/html_colors.html Note: You must use two "##" characters to get hex to work. Example: ##FFCC00 /s |

Another question ... Why does this script, and the reader script as well, quickly disappear and reappear when navigating to various items that don't refresh the whole page? Anyone else experience this? |

I love this script. Excellent attention to design detail. I'd like to change the color scheme though. Can anyone recommend the most efficient way to go about doing this? Regards, /sjb |

Great little script. Thank you. Any chance you, or someone more adept than I, could write a script including Google Notebook in the same manner? What we're doing here is adding these elements to Gmail to make it like a full-fledged email program similar to its competitors in terms of navigational accessability. This is a good thing. |
