Great job !

I discovered this site one week ago and installed the script. It automatically worked except for the RS' "Free user" button. I fixed it as recommended, at least I hope so ! _ free: "Free" _ at line 238 becoming _ free: "Free user" _.

Now, the download is immediately starting but the button with green "download link" doesn't appear anymore, except if I change the mirror site or if I depress the small button above.

I uninstalled the script and re-downloaded it, no change, Grease Monkey as well, same behaviour.

I suspect I wrongly modified the script.

May somebody give a clue ?

auto-download doesn't seem to work for me (rapidshare.com, preference set and saved to auto-download -- but it just does nothing (when auto-download set to false, the browser does the job correctly by reminding about the elapsed timer via the popup window)).

Edit the script and change:

free: "Free"

to

free: "Free user"

But there is another problem, It doesn't clicks Free any more...

I registered just like Sir Nose, to write words of praise for the work descriptor has done. In fact, I tried to register about 6 weeks ago to say thanks for the latest version but I had a problem with the email confirmation after 6 hours of waiting.... I just couldn't make any posts on this site that day as it never arrived. Anyway, I finally got registered here. You should know that I didn't even install firefox on a new PC i recently built because I knew rs_bundle wasn't ready yet with their recent 'skinning of the page' rapidshare did. So you should feel good that this one script ranks higher in value than any other benefit firefox gives me (despite its standards compliance, security, javascript debugger, etc). I would suggest there could be other users who only use firefox because of what you've made.

You have over 138,000 downloads. Everyone loves this tool. Just imagine how many people in the tiniest city of the tiniest country who have used this script in the past. That's a big number! I'm sure there are many many users who LOVE the tool but simply don't take the time to say so. But the fact of the matter is that only when something is gone do you miss it. And these people who suddenly find themselves without something (think of power outage customer or going to car repair shop customer) are those who react to get it fixed. You may never hear from those certain people again, but what can you do. Think of the fortune 500 CEO who has suddenly found his color printer is broken. He'll call the system administrator or some intern or secretary to fix it. Does this mean the CEO is some evil selfish person? Sometimes YES but sometimes no, not all CEOs are evil. And like a CEO, many users of scripts don't really have the talent to do things themselves. They have to ask if something is broken. Some people may sound horrible while asking and some people may give tons of thanks while asking. Depends on the person and their personality, their upbringing and their mood, etc.

In closing, now you know how I feel. I'm grateful for your past work and wish you luck with whatever you do in the future.

It's fairly obvious that Bouphecr is simply trolling. Seriously, why would he comment on a script written for /b/tards if he wasn't one? In fact I'm fairly certain that 4chan is using your script A LOT.

To clarify to anyone reading the stuff posted below and reaching the conclusion that this script is no good.

I am forced to use a shared IP address via my mobile phone data modem and as such making sure I'm first to click the download button in RS is crucial. I can confirm that today this script is still working brilliantly, I always get the download before anyone else hour after hour.

And when it's not happyhour having the ability to enter the captcha code early makes sure you still get in there first!

Whenever RS changes their page layout, Descriptor is on the ball and within a few days he has the script fixed and working again!

What more could you want?

I guess that Bouphecr is basically jealous off Descriptors far superior script and is making a complete fool of himself!

Please Descriptor don't get sucked in to his malicious crap, we love your work!
