Hi Kimball,

Sorry to hear it is taking so long for you. On my Comcast high speed connection it works fine.

Feel free to take the code and implement your suggestions. I think what you are proposing would make this script work even better.

You might also check out my Amazon Seattle Public Library Linky script that just does one lookup at a time and might work better for you.

It tends to take a LOONG time (256kbps DSL) to get links to even one item on my wishlist--and it gets about 10 or 12 links per item so far (admittedly, I only had the patience to watch it load links for Les Miserables and Hunchback of Notre Dame.)

This is way too slow. Perhaps it should load one link per title, and provide hints that more links will be loaded later---it could come back to the first title later...

Great script. I made changes as outlined below to add a little more height to the editor window:

Original code:

ea.style.height = window.innerHeight-300 +'px';

Modified to:

ea.style.height = window.innerHeight-200 +'px';

Original code:

ref.style.height = window.innerHeight-300 +'px';

Modified to:

ref.style.height = window.innerHeight-200 +'px';

It works like a charm - thank you so much! I'm a doctoral student, and this script has saved me an enormous amount of time :-)

mkbrandt,

Amazon made a chance to their page format. Should be fixed with the 1.1 version.

Hi pbizzle,

It does work with the current version of Sitemeter.

I just noticed that it doesn't work if you are not logged in. I think that is what is causing the issue you describe. So, just click on one of the links on the left (as you note, the top part is still removed so you can't login from there) and then login.

Thanks for the props. I too couldn't imagine using Sitemeter without it. :)

Thanks for the script. I can't live without it.

Does this work with the current version of Sitemeter? When I go to the details page, it does not expand and show the extra columns. All it appears to do is remove the top part of the web page where you can login.

Thanks for any help, your script is a godsend for people who check sitemeter!

Hmmm. I think the recent changes to the SPL site have made the script stop working :-(

Your comments about missing out on graphs and pictures are well stated. I just installed it and it

works great. Thanks.

Works great with the Ottawa Public Library. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24035

I built a script using a decent chunk of your code. It lets you zoom the flash video to nearly full screen and allows for easy navigation to the next video:

Joseph,

Yes, you can change the libraryUrlPattern and libraryName variables to your local library and assuming they are using the same back end system it will work for you.

Rudi,

That is strange that it wasn't working for you and now it is. Glad it is working for you now and that is cool that you modified it for your local library.

Just thought I would mention I used a copy of your script slightly modified to support our local library (Columbus GA) since they use identical library systems...only minor modifications were needed to the name and search url.

..and then I hit reload one more time and it works...weird.

Installed the script and tried it on the exact book displayed in example...it's no longer working.

Dumb newbie question here: Is it possible for one to modify this for their local library system?

Hi pogue,

I ran into that issue on 10/24 and wrote version 1.03 which fixed it for me. Upgrade to that, and if you still running into the issue let me know and I will look into it further.

This script doesn't seem to be working anymore. It looks like Blogger might have modified their layout for the post creation/edit page and now the button placement is off.

Hi mmmike,

It is working for me on XP with Firefox 2.0.0.8. I don't know why it wouldn't be working on Mac OS X as well.

Hi, I just installed greasemonkey and the linky. Doesn't work, though! I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.8 and Mac OS X 10.4.10. Is the linky still working for other people?
