this is not the original googlemonkey!!

Thanks Alot for keeping this script up-to-date.
I know it takes quite a bit of time and coding,
But I don't seem to have the "sign-in" link displayed on the firefox start page...
Any ideas as to why??

Working good now...
Thanks for the update!!

There's only one more thing that I can think of.
It would be real useful to have the "igoogle" and "sign in" link on the firefox start page.

I must say though I'm really liking this script!!

OK, I figured it out!!......
You need to add these values into the script where you see similar values...
The letter "O" represents the new page element....

So add this one into the top part of the script:
O Marketingbox

And add this one in the lower part, where you see similar code:
piece['O'] = $('marketingbox');

That got rid of that nasty page element for me!!
Hope I've explained it well enough!!

I Don't have the same new sections as default159, But I do have a new block titled "MySpace Music"
Actually after refreshing my homepage sevral times I noticed that the block has random content.
It's the top block in the right column ( I'm using the 3 column view )
I'd love to be able to get rid of that damn block!!
Looking forward to an updated version of this script!!

a description would be nice....
how do you expect someone to use your script without any idea of what it does??

Awesome job!!!
only thing I would change would be to make the links at the upper left more noticeable...just my pref.
Is there a variable I can change to do that??

This is completely broken for me...
no numbered results,
no multiple columns...
I do have colored results hue...
that's about it....

descriptions of what these scripts do would be nice, but i guess it's too much to ask of some people!!

I would like to see this look a little better on the firefox start page, if it's not a problem...

Still works as shown on my end...
this was created because the new changes to myspace made the "clean login page" script not functional...

MySpace - Home Auto-Update (beta again)

Joe B.
I was just on myspace and all is still good on my end with this script.
I tried using the url from your previous comment and got a message saying "invalid member id"....
it also said account was deleted or something to that effect....
maybe it was because i do not have your credentials to log onto myspace to see your homepage....I would think that one would have to be logged on to view that......It would not hold a constant url or something...

Seifer,
I disabled all other scripts and could not get the bulletin space to be displayed below the friend space in the center column.
like I said, It's something I can live with. Don't feel like you have to spend more time on it just for one user.
Although I'm sure alot of us here appreciate the time you do spend working on your scripts...Thanks again.

Update: Now it's displayed at the bottom!! Just the way I wanted...Don't know what I did??

It would be real useful if there was an update to Adrian's "Ad Slicer for MySpace",
that is, or shall I say was a good script...and still could be...

This script is working good though!!..
the only thing I notice is that when I choose to have the bulletin space in the center column, it always shows up at the top...when I would prefer to have it at the bottom..but I can adjust.

Would be nice to have the link-backs a bit more noticeable..

thanx again for the update!!!

Seifer,
I've tried out FF3, and I would switch but I have almost a dozen add-ons that are not compatible...
and something about the newer version of Greasemonkey annoyed me...

And thanks for updating this script...I was looking forward to it!!!

It clearly states above that it works with home skin switchup and auto-update.

"For added functionality, this script works with InsaneNinja's Home Skin Switchup and InsaneNinja's Home Auto-Update
Make sure to run this script AFTER both of InsaneNinja's scripts! "

and I am running Customize It!! after those scripts.

Seifer,
the scripts that are running when I'm viewing home.myspace.com are:
ads remover for google/adsense hacked w/ new google code,
bloody-disgusting ad blocker,
findscripts,
Insane Ninja's auto update and the home skin switchup.

I have worse results if I don't use both of Insane Ninja's scripts, but it seems like the better one out of the two to use with your script is the "home skin switchup". If I do not use the home skin switchup then I am left with one flash ad in the third column and nothing else. And when I edit your script I do not get the results that corrolate with the values that I entered, for example - I did not want the bulletin space displayed at all, so I removed the character value from the config, but the bulletin space still is there...??? And if I change the values for a column to have one item displayed before the other I do not get any changes...???

And I also don't have the link-back for this script displayed on my homepage as well.

Also note that I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.14 with Greasemonkey v. 0.7.20080121.0 on Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3.

Is this script going to be updated to work with the new MySpace changes??
I really hope so...
It is a good script...terrible that MySpace broke it!!!
