@John Gillson: I'm surprised you had to uninstall the old one. I still had mine installed, and when I installed the new version, it created the directory and put the necessary scripts in there. I guess it may be a difference between FF2 and FF3. Glad to hear it's working. Edit: I just tried to install it on another browser, and the old version was still installed. Good to know! |

@searchforsunrise: Thanks for the update! Glad you like it. |

@John Gillson: What problems are you seeing? |

I've updated the script. I don't have Firefox 3 (yet), so I don't know for sure if it works. But, I used Glenn Carr's updated script as a template, so it should work. If someone with FF3 could test it and post back the results, I would appreciate it. In a post on June 11th, I mentioned that this script breaks the new Yahoo interface for football. It appears the changes I made no longer breaks football. @suckerpuncher: I've tried to move players in football and baseball with the updated script (in FF2), and I have no issues. Hope it works for you too. Sorry for the late update. |

Sorry, I haven't had time to update it. I hope to work on it soon. |

Nice work. |

Yahoo has opened up Fantasy Football for the 2008 season. They have changed the interface some, and certain scripts cause the new interface to behave incorrectly. For example, if you hover over the "My Team" link, a sub-menu will open up, allowing you to directly go to a particular page instead of having to click on "My Team" then clicking on the link for the page you want. However, with some scripts enabled for football, the sub-menu disappears, making it so you cannot click on an entry in the sub-menu. This script is one of those scripts. I have found the following scripts also break the new interface:

Another great script Glenn. One suggestion, make it usable in other sports. The location.href.match() just needs to be modified to support other sports, and then add the appropriate info to the @include area. |

searchforsunrise: I have not tested on FF 3 yet. I'm waiting for it to go final before I try it. Sorry. It's possible that is the problem. Looks like I'll have to fix my script(s) when FF 3 comes out. |

jpslim, are you sure your post is posted to the correct script? This script doesn't do anything with stats or scoring. I guess I'm not understanding completely what you want. |

Haloducks, glad you like it. I'll see what I can do, but it probably will be more work than it was getting this to work for hockey. |

Haloducks, it's possible, but I don't play fantasy hockey. Football, basketball, and baseball is enough. :) However, I did a little bit of investigating, and it turns out it was pretty easy to do. For this script, just add "*hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/*" to the "Included Pages" section of the "Manage User Scripts" screen in GreaseMonkey. For the Game Log Link script, I've uploaded a new version that supports hockey. Install that version, and make the change to this script that I mentioned above. That should make it work for hockey. If not, let me know. |

Glad to here it Jake. Enjoy! Be sure to check out the other script I reference, the one written by Glenn Carr. That script shows the player notes when you hover over the note icon. That's where I got the idea for my script. |

JakeS, make sure you have the script located at http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/10921 and that script appears *before* this script in the Manage User Scripts screen. The Game Log Link script must exist, and must appear before the Game Log Tooltip script. Hope that helps. |

If you like this script, I just uploaded another script that's an add-on to this one. Instead of having to click the game log image, the new script will display the game log in a tooltip when the mouse is hovered over the game log image. You can find the script here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/13487 |

Oh, and it didn't work for NBA. I changed the line where you are comparing for hockey to the following:

Ok, guess I gotta do this the hard way. One last time: Add this line between the form and input tags:
<label for="playersearchtext" accesskey="s"> </label>\ |

I never can post code correctly in this system. (sure do wish there was a preview button!) Let me try this again. Add this line between the form and input tags:
<label> </label>\ |

Hey Glenn, I added an accesskey to the original script, so you can hit Shift-Alt-S to go to player search. Maybe you could add it to this script too? Here's what you need:
You might recall I created a script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7938) to always focus the regular player search box. I found this annoying when I was trying to arrow down through the list, as it was arrowing down through my previous searches instead. So I added an accesskey to that script. Then I decided to add it to the original of this script. Now that I've found your consolidated script, I've added it to that one too! |

Rob, If you are talking about live stats without stat tracker, check out these scripts: Baseball
Football
Basketball
These were not written by me, but I've used the baseball one (and will probably be using the football and basketball scripts too). |

I just uploaded a new version. The player search function was not working properly due to an incorrect URL. This has been fixed. |

LooGie, I made the modifications you recommended. I had another try where I placed an icon after the "GL" icon, and did it everywhere that icon appeared, but I think it makes more sense to have it only in Recent Transactions and Transactions, like you suggested. I've also added in Braxton's code to highlight benched players. So far, it seems to work on Yahoo's new interface. Also made injured baseball players appear in a different color (see below for more about multiple sports). Lastly, since I am in multiple sports, I made the script work for NFL, NBA, and MLB. I've uploaded the script (with credits to everyone here). The script can be found here |

I feel like a dolt. It turns out I didn't have the latest version. The latest version seems to fix the issues. Ignore my previous posts. |
