Hi, thanks a lot for this script. I started using it in my script Facebook Fixer today ( http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/8861 ) and I included a links to your profile and to this script. I would greatly appreciate a link back in your "scripts using update checker" section. Thanks :) |

Hi stormlifter, if you want to make the big profile picture disappear when you take the mouse off the small picture, enter The picture shows up on the side because this allows it to work in places that it wouldn't work before, and makes sure you can always see the whole thing. Since that bothers you enough to comment about it I'll assume it bothers other people too, so I'll give you the option to see it the old way in the next release. By default it will still be on the side though. |

jdblacklung, I read your comment on his script, so I'm basically responding to it... The reason I treat login.live.com differently is because unless I wait till that page has loaded the script doesn't seem to work on it. On all the other sites I have tested the script works before the page has finished loading, so there is no need to delay for those sites just to accommodate Microsoft. With regards to XPath, I didn't use it just because I'm more familiar with getElementsByTagName(). I really have no idea which one is faster. Where have you heard that XPath is faster? The closest thing I found to a comparison is on http://ejohn.org/blog/getelementsbyclassname-sp... which actually compares XPath to getElementsByClassName() (which turns out to be faster than XPath btw). That said, the speed difference between the two scripts is probably to small to be noticeable. If you already have one installed keep using it, otherwise I think it won't make that much of a difference to you which one you install. |

Hi FaeGiN, Glad you like the idea for the script :) I have a link to this script from the other one so that people can choose the one that suits them best. I figure that people who always use their computers at home in a "safe environment" don't really need the added security of this script. That said, this one is the more popular of the two. |

I have made some changes in response to jayleecn's comment however I am unable to test this myself since I only speak English. Any comments relating to the script's support for languages with non-latin/non-roman characters would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi Gary,
The script already has the ability to count a person's allies. Just look in the section where stats like hp and mp are listed. At the end you should see the number of medals and allies a person has. If not, just update the script. I actually came up with the idea to add this feature when I wanted to know how many allies you had. At the time I'm posting this you have 1306 allies. About being allies... at this time I'm not looking for out-of-tavern allies, but thanks. |

Hi Steve,
If you're still getting the problem please let me know the versions of firefox and greasemonkey that you are using. |

Hi LenR, I'll see what I can do about the pictures showing up off the screen, thanks for pointing that out. For the time being I've disabled bigger profile pictures on Scrabulous pages. I may keep it disabled, or I may eventually create a work-around for these pages. |

Hi Rolli, I don't see why it wouldn't work on Google for you. Do you have any other scripts or extensions that affect Google that may be causing it? Have you tried reinstalling the script? Does it work on other Google sites (like google.ca or google.co.uk)? The link you gave is the same link I use as a shortcut for searching Google and it works fine over here. It even works when I click on your link. |

Hi encosion, exactly what is it that's not working properly for you? It seems to be working fine over here. |

Hi sasouki, I believe the reason you're experiencing that is because the privacy settings the other person has selected do not allow you to view their profile. In situations like this Facebook redirects you to a search result page as you described. There is no way no get around this short of hacking the site. Please note that the redirecting links I mentioned above are the links that Facebook creates when you add a link to an external site, such as in a note or item. This links are usually formatted like: http://www.facebook.com/note_redirect.php?note_... I will edit my description to try to make this difference clearer. |
