This doesn't belong exactly here, but I haven't found more appropriate topic. I signed up just a while ago... twice, because I made a typo in my email address :( That mistyped address doesn't even exist, which should help my case, since I'd like to get my original username back... The easiest way would be to delete this account and also account with username 'gorthaur', supposing it won't remain blocked and I can repeat the sign up. Otherwise I can just keep this account, but I'd like to know some site op's word on it. Sorry for being a bother... |

No actions taken from dob's potst to this. We really need moderators. |

Spam user:
Also, re: LouCypher's comment above; I know there are a number of regular active users who seem to check this site really quite often on the whole, and some of these have either offered themselves or been suggested as moderators in the past. It strikes me that the spam at the moment is very much controlable but it seems to be often left for days or weeks before being removed, and I know that the admin seem reluctant to accept any help with this, but I think they should seriously consider enlisting the help of some active users to help control this annoyance. |

|
Nobody wants to take over this forum, but I believe it'd make things much easier if moderators could at least temporarily hide/remove scripts. Later on, they could actually be deleted by the admins. |

If they aren't spammer ... they are on the good way: http://userscripts.org/scripts/search?q=hinata0... They are posting always the same script with different names, it's a new type of hack? malware? http://userscripts.org/users/52329/scripts

Spammer FreePorn4You, his comments |
|
|
He is back FreePorn4You, more explicit than ever! |
|

@Any Admin Most of the spammers post the same message in few minutes more times .... It would be nice when this message would be able to destroy itself in 5 seconds ... but it doesn't so @any admin I'm sure that you can delete it. |

Spam user:
A bunch of spam comments. I flagged this a week ago, but it's still not been removed... |

Why you don't create an url black list, each time that you delete a spam message that contains links, add the links to the url black list and when someone post a new message that contains a link to an url of the black list ... trash it automatically, so you avoid that spammers post always the same messages with the same links to the same sites. |

Here is an idea. 1. make the logged cookie die, it shouldn't live as long as it does. session limited would be perfect.
After that, it is upto whoever reads the pleas as to whether or not you get reinstated. This will eliminate alot of spam accounts right off the bat. Also, it would ensure that a real human or highly trained animal is logging in. In addition to the above: 1. if the spam deletion count on an account is 3 or more, that account immediately goes into judgement, with all scripts associated with it going in there too.
So that's my nickel and 2 pennies worth of ideas. :) ciao |

Well I don't know about anyone else, but if captchas are brought in, I would probably use this site much less. That would just be plain annoying. |
|
|
I second that. Just put up two or three moderators, users with the privilege to hide/erase topics/users/scripts, and everything'll be ok. |

this person "A2J"
|

A2J is at it again, still duplicating other peoples scripts... |

Attempting to contact A2J to see if this is a mistake, but given that the tagline is "Dark Hackers", I think we might have another problem user :( |
