His scripts are also either malware or al least very strange (scripts are applied at other pages than in the description, loads flash, listen to key-strokes and send http-requests to servers... I am too lazy to read all of the code and figure out and not stupid enough to just try and install...)

I completely agree that any anti-spam rules you create should not be hard coded. Expanding on my original idea, for optimal spam prevention, I suggest that you implement an IP blacklist, in addition to a community-driven system in which users can flag posts as spam.

Fighting spammers is a cold war. Re-CAPTCHA is one idea to fight spammers among the options out there. Right now, we are hesitant to add tools like Re-CAPTCHA everytime users want to comment, review, add a topic, etc. Tools like this could be seen as burdensome for the entire community for an average of 10 spammers. We are looking into putting in other measures, like limiting the number of comments, posts, topics, and reviews per new user for a defined time period instead. Suggestions are welcome.
Also, please just identify the spammer, much like the format Marti and Jefferson use. We investigate each case and worried we are setting the incorrect expectation of we will delete a user because they are listed here. In a very small number of cases, we get false positives or scriptwriters who may not agree with a review or comment so then identify a user as a spammer.
