Help, please

Hi. I wondered if this has been fixed. I have Chrome and has worked well, until the problem a week ago. I have installed the script again, a few times, and two things happen still. Videos are removed when I click the X, but then re-appear anytime page is reloaded, etc; and there is no X for videos which people post as a playlist. |

There should be no issues at all. It works fine in Chrome for me. Try to uninstall the script before installing it again, maybe that will help. |

Hello, Thank you for your help. I tried your advice today, and as I expected, the same exact problem happens. I have the latest version of Chrome, for which this script has worked very well, until a week ago. Now, even videos from well over a month ago, keep appearing, after I delete newer ones, and all videos always re-appear. |

That's really weird. Try to open up the console (CTRL+SHIFT+I) and check if there's any error messages. Apart from that I'm clueless why this would happen (I'm unable to reproduce the bug myself). |

Hello. thank you for writing. Can you please say what page, or where exactly do I push CTRL+SHIFT+I? I have tried this a few times, and nothing appears. The only thing I can think of, is that this userscripts website has become very slow, and sometimes, does not even open |

On the main Youtube page, a subwindow should appear the the bottom of the page and you'll have to click the "Console" tab. Then press F5 and see if there any errors (usually in red). |

Hi. I wish I had your skills! Apparently, this is what was shown, and it was not in red: Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://www.youtube.com/".

Nothing related to the issue, just Youtube's own error. Did you clear the history or anything? If not, the only way of finding out what's wrong it to manually change something in the script. On line 79 there's the following:
That will show you any errors that happen directly (one of those warning/pop-up/ok-cancel dialogs). If you get one while using it, copy the text (or make a screenshot). |

Hello. Most of this is very new to me. I did not even know what a script was, until 2 months ago. I did not clear the Youtube history or anything else. I cannot find where this line 79 is, as you say. I made a screenshot, but there is no way to send it to you. Thank you. |

Install this (debug) script. Then do the stuff you'd normally do on Youtube and if any error comes up it should print an error message. |

Hello. This script appears to be the regular one - Youtube Tweak, not a debug script. But I installed it anyway, the same one as you already have. I clicked on the Xs, did the console, everything, same problems, no error messages in red. |

It's the same script, I only applied the change in line 79. If you didn't get any error pop ups (in the style of ok/cancel popups) then the script runs fine. Also, did any of the ignored videos appear again? Because it must be something else, the script seems to run fine if you didn't get any popups. |

Hello, Sorry for the delay, but with Google Chrome not allowing me to open up this page, then internet problems, it took me two weeks to write back. I am trying to remember everything and I do not know much about scripts. But the one you gave me (debug script)has still not worked, nor have there been the popups you mentioned. I installed this script again today and the same thing happens, all ignored videos and Xd videos always appear again and playlist which people uploaded, do not have an X. Thank you. |

Could be just Chrome being to strict. Try to install the debug version again (removed the "use strict" statement). You should definitely get a pop-up now. In any case, click the gear icon and then "About Google Chrome". Then copy the version string and paste it here. And you can do one more thing. Paste the following code into the address bar (you might have to type javascript: yourself, because Chrome strips it off for me):
As a last resort I could get to you via an IM and/or TeamViewer. |
