There is task I want to automate. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if it is possible to write a script to fix the issue below.

I receive inquires by Gmail. I respond to these inquiries individually and half of these queries are only to check availability calendar but by the time I respond sometimes hours have passed. So the solution was to setup a filter in Gmail with a canned response directing the inquirer to my online calendar. It is the perfect solution for me except there is a problem.

Following is the inquiry email I receive

from: inquiry@inquiry.com
reply-to: johndoe@johndoe.com
to: me@gmail.com
date: Wed, Jan 25, 2012 at 4:50 PM
subject: Inquiry from John Doe - Apr 23 to 30

As long as "reply-to" field is blank the filter works fine and sends the canned response but whenever there is an address in the reply-to field, the canned email goes to the wrong place.

How can I make this work. Any ideas or scripts out there.
