I'm no longer updating this script as I now use Google Reader instead of Bloglines.

Hmmm... it appears the whitespace problems still do exist. The current script still fixes them successfully.

Bloglines now has a new Atom feed parser which seems to have fixed the whitespace problems so this script will no longer be maintained.
