Feature Suggestion: Random pause intervals for waves.

Allow the Wave feature to have the option to pause for random intervals based on variables given.
This way waving is not a continuous, relentless and very conspicuous activity. |

While I can see this as doable... I wonder about the usage of adding this. Seems like laziness to me and not wanting to stop your own waving by clicking to "disable" it. I see no real use for this feature as you can set the pause time between attacks already. I enable and disable waves all the time when I want them to stop and break. Others do it too. I understand you are wanting it to try to appear more "random" but I see no sense in adding this feature. I have been playing this game since Realm 2, Pearl, opened and so I speak from experience. I wouldn't recommend any script writer to add something like this and there by making the script bigger, slower to load, and consume more resources because of what boils down to laziness. |

It's not a matter of laziness. There are those who enjoy the game as resource management and feel that the tediousness of the game takes the fun out of the game and in fact would not play at ALL if it were not for this script. Your argument might be made that this entire script is made for people who are "lazy" and don't to take the time to manage all the mind numbing tedious tasks that are certainly are not fun in any way. That being said, there are those who like to allow the script to run unattended at times, or play in multiple realms, or multi-task and are anything but lazy.
You are dead wrong in your presumption that my suggestion had anything to do with laziness. Personally, I wouldn't recommend you make comments on which you make such assumptions. |

Additionally, with without the ability to gather map information, people will be using the wave feature dominantly. We are seeing people who can't gather map data and are instead simply waving the same location as an alternative. There will be a very obvious change in the style of game play for script users vs. those who don't use the script. Now, more than ever, and in the spirit of the bold print on the front page "PLEASE, BE SMART AND REASONABLE, DO NOT ABUSE OF AUTOMATIC FEATURES. DON'T HELP THEM TO SEEK WAYS TO BLOCK THIS SCRIPT" this feature should be considered to help combat the widespread overuse of the wave feature while the attack system is down for those many who cannot gather map data and don't have old map data, in addition to the reasons mentioned previously. |
