The latest changes for Better Watch Page are listed here. This is a list of older changes. I moved them off the front page because the list was getting too long! Changes are listed from new(er) to oldest. March 2012Newest - The newest updates are here. The updates in this list are old.2012.03.24 - Added "Popout" button. Added "Expand/Shrink" player button. Fixed comment autocollapsing not working in Russian. Fixed player size issues when expanded. Fixed minor visual issues. Removed "Autohide controls" toggle option (Youtube seems to always show now). 2012.03.18 - Fixed visual issues in the sidebar 2012.03.06 - Added "Player 3" style for the HTML5 player. January & February 20122012.02.16.2 - Fix for the previous fix which wasn't fully fixed. But should be fixed now!2012.02.16 - Fix for major crash. 2012.02.07 - Fixed player bugs. Added option to disable "mini-mode". Added option to remove 'extra info' below description. Minor visual tweaks. 2012.02.04 - Fixed(?) issues with autoplaying playlists not autoplaying. Fixed missing 'More from [uploader]' thumbnails. Added experimental "mini-mode". 2012.01.27 - Fixed missing 'suggestions' thumbnails. Added option to remove "More from Subscriptions"/"More from x's activity"(etc) box. Added option to auto-collapse the 'suggestions' list in the sidebar. Removed support for the old version of Youtube (as it has been removed from Youtube). 2012.01.25 - Fixed crash on HTML5 video pages. 2012.01.19 - Minor visual fixes for comments, add-to playlists, and subscribe. 2012.01.02 - Added feature for custom video players. Updated settings screen. Fixed minor possible crash. November & December 20112011.12.17.1 - Fixed avatars. BWP now supports both the current version of Youtube and the old version of Youtube. Use Old Design to go back to the old version of Youtube (will stop working when Youtube removes the server-side code).2011.12.17 - Updated player 4 mirrors. Removed Cosmic Panda support (Cosmic Panda has been removed from Youtube). Removed "Hide Reactions" option (Reactions have been removed from Youtube). Removed player colour selection of "based on background", as the background is now always white. 2011.12.11 - Fixed missing avatars. Added extra sources for player 4 (should decrease loading time slightly). Added handling for users with outdated versions of Greasemonkey. 2011.12.07 - Fixed broken Player 4 (this may not last long!). Fixed missing avatars. Fixed broken "More from username" section. Minor visual fix for comments. 2011.12.03 - Fixed crash from the Youtube "Refresh" update, fixed most bugs and lots of visual glitches. Changed some things from their new "Refresh" style to their old style. A few things are still broken or visually incorrect. Added notice for Cosmic Panda users. 2011.12.01 - Fixed crash (I hope!), removed blue background from suggestion hovering. 2011.11.07 - Revert Google "Refresh" if detected (temporary solution until Youtube forces it), added more debug code.
October 20112011.10.30 - Fixed "Youtube HD" from appearing on Player 3.2011.10.22 - Fixed crashing on Live videos. 2011.10.05 - Behind-the-scenes preparations for multi-language support. Fixed minor bug with "views" in languages other than English. 2011.10.01 - Added option to remove "Reactions". Fixed "Post a video response" layout bug. Changed "Cosmic Panda" to be light instead of dark (and added an option to change it back to dark). Fixed a few Cosmic Panda visual issues. Temporary fix for Cosmic Panda videos playing as part of a playlist. September 20112011.09.29.2 - Fixed a Chrome crash.2011.09.29 - Fixed crash. Fixed minor layout bugs. Moved "Reactions" to be next to the like/dislike buttons. 2011.09.24 - Completely new settings screen. Fixed crashing when logged out. Fixed bug with non GM_ browsers. 2011.09.22 - Fixed a few visual bugs, and fixed the "Suggestions" box in the sidebar. 2011.09.20 - Added HTML5 support. Temporary fix for Favourites button not working for some users (click "Playlists"). 2011.09.19 - Reorganised the buttons in the action bar. 2011.09.18 - Players 4 and 3 now swap to the Default player if a 3D video is detected (otherwise they break). Fixed Player 4, but it now automatically disables captions and annotations due to those things making it break. (I suggest you change to Default or Player 3). 2011.09.17 - Added "URL" and "Embed" links to the description box, and added a setting to remove those links if you don't want them. Fixed crashes on some videos. Fixed display issues on VEVO videos. Re-added "autohide/show video controls" option since Youtube seems to sometimes autohide the controls. 2011.09.01 - Removed "autohide/show video controls" setting, as Youtube now always shows controls. Started working on behind-the-scenes improvements to the settings system. August 20112011.08.31 - Fixed crashes with Star ratings and YousableTubeFix, fixed star rating count.2011.08.27 - Big update to the buttons below the video, and added an option for Star ratings! 2011.08.22 - Added "Save settings and refresh page" button to setting screen, fixed "Uploader Comments" not auto-collapsing in US English, fixed settings screen when used with Auto Buffer/HD script, fixed display glitch in description box. 2011.08.20 - Added options to auto-collapse comments. Minor fixes. 2011.08.18 - Continued work on comment and sidebar list styling, to make it more like old Youtube. Added button to reset settings. 2011.08.13 - Split the player options into player style (Default, Player 4, Player 3), colour (Default/Black, White, Auto), and auto-hide controls (Default/Hide, Show). Your current setting should automatically convert into those. Also fixed the description having a blank area above it. Also added possible fix for a crash. 2011.08.11 - Fixed Player 4, and added option for the "light" version of the default player. 2011.08.09 - Moved "Reactions" to its own block rather than mixed in with "All Comments". Script now aborts on HTML5 videos, rather than crashing. (HTML5 support is coming in the future, but not yet). 2011.08.08 - Fixed crashing on videos with comments disabled. 2011.08.07 - Comments are now split into their individual sections such as "Top Comments", "Uploader's Comments", and "All Comments", and all are collapseable. All are collapseable. Still a work-in-progress. 2011.08.05 - Fixed BWP causing this script to crash, and fixed its settings button from being hidden. 2011.08.04 - Fixed Player 3. Updated the style of various elements and made the comments section collapseable in preparation for upcoming updates. 2011.08.01 - Crash fixes for Audioswap, and for Player 3 on videos with no tags. July 20112011.07.30.2 - Should stop crashing in a certain spot.2011.07.30 - Added experimental "Cosmic Panda" support. Also fixed playlist thumbnails in suggestions, added more debug detail. 2011.07.25 - Fixed "Suggestions" thumbnails, removed "Youtube Standard Licence" again, and added more debug detail. 2011.07.24 - Notification when script crashes, and some more debug detail. 2011.07.23 - Big re-code of how the description panel is handled. Visual changes should be minor, but the code is now a bit easier to work with. Also fixed "Related Videos" in Player 4. 2011.07.22 - "Suggestions" is now a bit taller. Also if you use Player 3 it will automatically use Player 4 on 3D videos. 2011.07.16.2 - Fixed alternative video players from breaking. Player 4 should be exactly the same as how the video player was before the current default player appeared. Player 3 is the one before that. 2011.07.16 - Fixed "Player 4", and made script run on HTTPS Youtube. 2011.07.15.2 - Fixed settings screen bug, hopefully also fixed Chrome video player change bug. 2011.07.15 - Added more detail to debug mode. Added script metadata. 2011.07.14 - Added an option to change the video player. Let me know if you find a video that it doesn't work on, and also what player you were using. 2011.07.10 - Re-branded. It was "Right Side Description Panel" and is now "Better Watch Page". This is because it does much more than just moving the description. Also added some checks for if the script is running already, or if it is running with incompatible scripts. 2011.07.09 - Fixed "Live" video pages breaking. Added function to detect "Cosmic Panda" mode and warn the user that this script isn't compatible with that mode. After installing this update you might have 2 copies of the script installed. If that happens, uninstall both and then come back and install it again. June 20112011.06.28 - Added a debug function. If you're having a problem and I can't figure it out, this debug function will (hopefully) tell me where the script is messing up.2011.06.24 - Moved ratings bar back to the description box, and added a setting to put it where it was before this update (with "like/dislike" buttons). Made the "Suggestions" video list collapsible and gave it a scrollbar (length will be improved next update). Added functionality to cross out settings that can't be used with other settings. 2011.06.23 - Fixed bug where US English "License" message wasn't being detected. Improved layout of settings screen, and made it scroll the settings if the page is too short to display them all. Also improved the message given to users of browsers that don't support GM_ functions. 2011-06-20 - Removed "Licence: Youtube Standard Licence" from video descriptions. Other licences will still appear as normal, so if you don't see a licence then it means it is the standard licence. I also fixed a minor layout glitch on sponsored videos, and stopped the script from trying to run on "This video is unavailable" pages. 2011-06-19 - Fixed ratings bar when there are no ratings. Restyled the buttons below the video, and the data that appears below them when they are pressed, to be a bit closer to how Youtube used to look. 2011-06-11 - Revised the video rating bar position, and added a setting to make it bigger. Fixed "Subscribed" from overlapping with long usernames. May 2011 and older2011-05-16 - Improved tag hide/show, now also hides category. Fixed bugs with "live" videos. Moved video rating to like/dislike buttons. Moved partner image into description panel. Added option to remove settings button. Other minor changes.2011-05-15 - Improved display of info below description (such as "Artist" or "Series" or "Contains content from"). Tags now hide/show when you click "tags". Added option to automatically hide tags when page loads. Moved ratings bar back below view count. Other minor changes to prepare for upcoming changes/features. 2011-05-12 - Fixed the "More from user (#)" button/list and logged in user button. 2011-05-06 - Fixed partner image, added option to put scrollbar in description, added version number on settings screen, moved settings button next to the like/dislike/add/flag buttons. 2011-04-30 - Added "autoexpand" option for description panel, and a screen to set these options.
