First of all, thanks for thinking of it! Good call.

If other users of the script can see the new terms, then it follows that I should be able to see them when I look at my profile, yes? Not currently the case. Just checked, I can see yours, so evidently I've done something wrong.

I'm using Chrome 12.0.742.122.

OK fixed via OkC itself: I didn't notice the |character in front of each term, it works best if you include those. *ahem*

Is anyone actually using these that we can test on? The pipe is visible in the profile, isn't it? Is there a way around that? Special invisible character or something?

Me and my partner are using these. My profile is the same as my username, and my partner is linked on there.

Unfortunately I don't know which invisible characters would work on OkCupid. If you discover any I'll be happy to change the script to use it though.

I found a way to get rid of the pipe. You now use   at the start of the tag instead. Looks exactly like a space :)

Note that the nbsp continues to look like a space even in the edit box, after saving. :) It's still there, but as an invisible Unicode character instead of an HTML entity.

I've seen a few people who use the script linking to it in their profiles.

An idea: You could have a template including this link to this script's page that people can copy and paste into their profiles, but when the template is found, it is then hidden by the script. That way people who don't have the script installed will see a link explaining, while people who already have the script won't be bothered by it. Something like:

(Custom tags provided by OkChoices userscript) or something less stupid-sounding.

Of course it would be optional to paste it into your profile.
