Do you have to uninstall the new sidebar first?

It doesn't seem to be working. I installed it, but nothing happened. Do you need to uninstall the new sidebar before installing the new one? If so, how do you do it? |

You can't uninstall the new sidebar because the new sidebar is an update to Tumblr that the staff made to Tumblr. |
