Started using this script a few days ago, I love it, but as of today it seems to have stopped working. It stalls on the first page of Game Feed, it highlights request in yellow but never moves on to next one or completes processing of first request. I am using latest version 1.4.111 and have disabled other Firefox add-ons. Using Firefox version 3.6.17, and sidekick version 0.0.12. I would appreciate any advice or help you could offer, this script has made my facebook life so much easier!

I've also tried installing in Chrome and it's not working there either. Is it due to the Greasemonkey update perhaps? I notice that Greasemonkey updated within the last twenty four hours so I'm thinking it might be due to that, but then again, it's not working in Chrome either. Chrome version 11.0.696.71

I suggest trying this link to overwrite your greasemonkey:

https://arantius.com/misc/gm-nightly/

If it still malfunctions, it is possible that all users will have to move up to FF4, or FF3 users will have to move down to GM92 or 93 and stay there. That's just a matter of choice.

If its the case that the sidekick window is not working with GM95+ then I can possibly code that in for FF3 users. You will know this is the case if the sidekick window A) never opens and the post just turns yellow and stays yellow, or B) the sidekick window does open, post turns yellow/stays yellow and then opens another window when it tries to get the next bonus. I suspect the "fixed" window handle function GM was working on works differently now. I will look here on my end to see whats up.

You could also check the FF error console (tools > error console > error tab only) and see if anything specific is mentioned pertaining to this script or the base greasemonkey script.

Chrome users have rarely got this to work, and that was quite a while ago. That topic been talked about a lot on this forum. I suggest you read a few of the most recent posts to get the idea of why. Also on the about page (link above) I did mention I don't support chrome, only FF 3/4.

If I find anything useful that I can change before you get back to me on this, I will try to get it out in the next update. At least one other user has had similar issue with FF3.

Direct message me (on here) your facebook profile, or message me on mine. I have some code for you to try.

Try this revision (http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/86674.use...)

I changed the way FF3 opens windows and you may have to use the part about windows stealing focus from this post (http://userscripts.org/topics/63194)

This should completely ignore changes to the tab functions in GM95, however there may be other issues I have not yet identified, especially with FrV and CafeWorld posts.

Definitely let me know ASAP if this fixes the issue.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions - I am going to go ahead and try upgrading to FF 4 to see if that solves the issue - I've also sent you a friend request on FB as well :-) I will let you know how it goes, thanks again!

I used the link you suggested, https://arantius.com/misc/gm-nightly/ to overwrite greasemonkey, I upgraded to FF 4, and installed the revision http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/86674.use.... Unfortunately, the issue still isn't fixed although now the selected message in feed does not highlight in yellow, or indicate it's trying to process any requests, it just does not respond in any way now. I have checked the error console in FF 4 but not finding any errors that relate to this script. If there is anything I'm missing, please let me know. Thanks again for your help :-)

It's working now - I noticed another user Marsha Cooper had a link to go back to greasemonkey 9.3. Once I did this, everything works again! Very happy, thanks for your hard work on this script, it's such a lifesaver!
