I know you are an extremely busy man George so i am in no rush i was merely wondering if a player finder like on KOC power tools is possible with DOA.
I see how much they are fighting with you and how you would prefer to work on the bugs which they are throwing at you, i just think it would be a great addition :)
Thanks for your time.

At this point, I don't think that it is possible. However, I now have a bunch of code (DOA' flash program) to look at, maybe I can find some unused features in there.

may i can ask somethins better a alliance finder for the future. type in a alliance and you will find all the players, and there outpost's.

In order to do that, the script would have to scan the whole map every time to get a result. That is too network consuming, and the process itself could be easily detected by kabam, since there's no human who would check the whole map programatically and that fast.

Really this script is meant to ease the burden of doing those daily mundane repetitive tasks such as farming for food and items. Not sure if it wise to go down the path of implementing a player tracker into it. It's not a hard thing to do. You don't necessarily have to map the entire realm either. In the end I think it's up to George whether he wants to see something like this included.

I think I may have a head start if George would be interested in checking it out........It worked until the latest outpost update so I would imagine only the lead in script needs adjusted. Can you message Orlean if you are ointerested in tackling what should be an easy fix for you?

Just for the record I'd like to say that this would be both a good and bad addition to the game. It would make it possible for large might players to find a target and hit them till they don't want to play anymore. The way the actual game is designed you can currently hide if need be. This wouldn't overly affect me personally as i am in a top 5 alliance in my domain, but i could see it hurting alot of other players.

Many of us already have this facility. I think including it in the script goes against the purpose of the script.

I think this would be far too much abused by bullies and really add nothing to gameplay.

@runey have you made anyprogress with the troop trainer tab you were working on?

Agreed with Myrkk. It would be easily abused by 'war-mongers' in the game. Despite the fact that THAT is almost the only point to the game, it would (in my opinion) significantly lower the player base, and generally make the game un-fun for those who aren't as familiar/haven't been playing as long.

This is a very grey area, from one side it would be a time saver from scoutign the whole map for hours... but from the other side... whats next? removing build timers?

@coco did your friend enjoy being tracked, if not you should help oppose this addition to the script.

That's is simply going to make the game too easy+pointless. Clever thing is to save time with auto farming camps (even THAT just once in a while, not 24/7 bully-like farming and then wondering why servers lag/crash or tools gets busted), but the-next-level clever thing is to keep it all balanced. Otherwise what's the fun/point? Own everyone almost without even logging in?

Then again, it's in the human nature to abuse things. And then wonder why said things get fubar.

What boki posted was a scam. You click and it asks for money. This is not a place to sell stuff.
