I fail to make it work :-(

May 18, 2011 9:52am PoPol User	Tested on Windows with Chrome dev. build 13.0.767.1 and Firefox 3.6.17 Installed scripts googleFixedSearchBar and googlestatictopbar I tried disabling everything and I removed the options to "search as you type" that I usualy have in the browsers. I tried on Google as a signed (iGoogle) and unsigned user. The search bar never got the focus when I typed something on the keyboard. Even when I clicked the webpage before (in an empty area of the search page results). I also found this script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/8536 that tried to do that but it is broken now and no longer works. Maybe it could help... -- Pol

May 18, 2011 5:20pm LukeB Script's Author	give it a try now.. I edited it a little bit.. i tested it again today... im using search as you type... and its working fine... I can add screenshots of how its working for me... tested it on 3 different computers signed in and signed out.... not sure what the problem is for you... let me know.

May 19, 2011 11:03am PoPol User	Still no luck Maybe I'm not using it correctly. I load the page, scroll down and give the focus of the page. Then I try to type a word. But that gives nothing.

May 19, 2011 5:47pm LukeB Script's Author	It is probably a problem with your pc.. It is a function created by google not me (the auto-"search box"-focus-on-type function). so there's not much I can do for you. sorry bout that.
