I have the latest version of PmG (just updated today in fact) and I can't see where the menu is on my Gmail page. It's definitely working because the top line of the page stays in place while I scroll down, and I can see the "old-fashioned" Select: row.

Here's a shot of the top of my Gmail page: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B44LpsIypDm3Yz...

I want to turn off the mail alert sound, but I can't find the menu to do that. Where is it?

Looks like you have the new navbar. Google is slowly rolling out the new Navigation bar to all users. I am yet to see it.
So until i see it, i won't be able to fix it.

There is no menu to turn off the mail alert sound, although there is a user configurable option in the script.
So you can open the script and set soundAlerts = false to disable sounds. Mind you that will disable sounds for chat also.
In the next version i've separated those options so you can individually disable either of them.

Thanks very much for your fast response. Good thing it can be changed in the script and not seeing the menu doesn't matter for this. Hopefully you'll get the new nav bar soon. :)

Having also problemswith new navbar. With the script enabled, it will cover the searchbox on top and as already stated, script menu disappears...

Maybe you can use some foreign proxy and other gmail account to get the new navbar shown and then fix the problems with your script? I actually already get it shown with any of my accounts...
