Received Warning

FYI, got a warning this morning. Running 4.3.3. Fleet scanner disabled, pretty sure I hadn't used the system scanner. I derb'd the majority of my fleet in an attack a few weeks ago so my activities were limited to simming/rebuilding. For the time the warning was issued, my only activity at the time was on the trade page and maybe queuing up a structure (not fleet) if that's a clue. Was my first, fine was two days income (380k) |

I was fined a couple days ago specifically for ae tools. I am a software engineer and I now know that they are scanning the page after load and looking for scripts. It doesn't help that aetools puts it's own title at the top of the page, this is probably what they are keying on. |

Yep got warned and fined as well. Like BigJ I didn't use the fleet scanner. Just used production page and the normal settings. |

I will look into how they are tracking it and see if this can be stopped. I am baffled they spend so much effort into stopping this script when it helps their business. If they spent as much time listening to their customers and improving the game to meet market demands as they do wasting time on stupid graphics and social networking bullshit which does nothing for generating or keeping customers, they may get to a point of actually having a real business someday. thanks for the feedback guys. I'll see what I can do about this. |
