This little scrips saved me from going postal on Google's new and "improved" image search. I was "OK" with the new layout (better use of screen estate), even though I did not like it as much as the old one. Yesterday, though, the frickin' thing hijacked the arrow keys on my keyboard, so instead of letting me use the arrow keys to edit a search term in the search box (as it should) it hijacks the god damned directional keys and use them to navigate the search results/image thumbnails, meaning I have to use the mouse to place the cursor at the exact right spot every time I wanted to edit just one letter or add a space or whatever. For a heavy image searcher (and at times poor speller) like myself, this was just frustrating to the point of insanity. So anyways, just wanted to rant about Google's new intrusive suck-feature and at the same time thank you for whipping this script up. You've saved me from going insane, man. |
