Hello!
I've searched hundreds of sites with no clues and have found only other frustrated users, so I experimented and found the solution.
So if you experience the error:

Code: 800A1391
Source: Microsoft JScript runtime error

in Greasemonkey trying to execute or edit a script, go to about:config and set a proper Editor for Greasemonkey scripts. Should say:
greasemonkey.editor - C:\Windows\notepad.exe
or such.
Good luck.

That seems to work, but to be safe, use:
c:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe

JScript?

I believe Windows File Protection maintains a sync on those now but still good advice to be cautious.
