I wonder if you'd consider putting this userscript on to github.com so that I (and others) can contribute here and there?

Also does this script have a license?

He is asking if it has an @license that allow others to contribute their own versions of it on whatever pages.

For this script I think this is a very bad idea... it's quite specific to USO and I'd rather not be taking people away from this site to another that is purely way too complicated for beginners.

Why would someone that wants to install the script from uso have to install it from github? that doesn't make any sense to me.. and it's not at all what I'm suggesting.

Plus I do believe that your request would be making more work for GIJoe keeping USO and GH in sync let alone all the people that have it updated via a local updater from here.

You're not making any sense to me Martii. First of all you assume ppl are going to start installing from github for some reason that makes no sense to me at all, secondly you think having ppl conrtibute to the code and not asking GIJoe to do everything is going to make more work for GIJoe somehow? Furthermore GM will have a built-in updater soon, so who cares how these userscript updaters work, that effort ought to be put towards finishing the feature for GM.

A lot of people prefer a more user friendly environment like USO. Simply put it is up to GIJoe if he wants to leverage his copyright to allow other users to contribute on a different system. Most of what you don't understand is your downfall and I'm not here to explain it to you as that's not normally in the spirit of USO. :)
