Hi man,

just did a quick check out, but the like filter doesn't seem to work?!

Cheers.

PS: I wrote my own userscript, what filters a lot more and works.. It filters application posts (like FarmVille, MafiaWars etc), system messages (x likes Y, X joined group Y etc) and also hides the ad and suggestion boxes on the sidebar.

Try out @ http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/78096

It's still working from my browser. I guess you might be using a different browser (FF3's localStorage is needed) or for some reason FB is showing you a different page?
Anyway I'm glad to see other people also dislike FB's spam messages to the point of writing a filter to combat them. Mine has some advantages in that it allows you to dynamically turn on/off filtering and remembers your preferences.

Hi.

Didn't knew about the need local storage. and yeah, you're right: the advantage of your scripts is to dynamically turn on/off, what you want. on the other side you did not include ALL useless stuff. ;-) would be great to combine the scipts. if you don't mind i will do this and therefore grab some of your code (i'll mention it(/you) in the head comment)!?

cheers,
stephan

I didn't know about GreaseMonkey's GM_g/setValue functions so I was using localStorage.
Sure. Do whatever you want with the code. :)
