Nice, but it LOAD ads and after just 1 second they disappear.

Why don't you modify the script so browser don't load the ads instead of just simply "hide after 1 second" ?
Thank you very much

I don't know how much you understand about the technical side of this but it doesn't matter if I remove the ads using DOM methods or hide them using CSS, there will still be a delay before they go away the first time you load Facebook. I'm not hiding the ads after 1 second like you suppose. I hide them as soon as I can inject the CSS in the page.

However, I did just add support to my script for early injection that will get rid of the delay in a browser that supports it. Currently I know Google Chrome supports early injection and I believe I heard Opera does too but I'm not sure. The latest release of Greasemonkey doesn't but we might get that in 0.9. I tested my latest update of this script in a experimental branch of GM that supports early injection and I didn't see the ads at all. Hopefully Opera supports this feature. You'll have to give the new version a spin and let me know :)

I use Opera 10.54, but I see the delay in this version too. :(

Why the scripts hide the "Suggestions" section (ego_header) too?
It's not ads.
Thank you

Okay I did a little research and for this to work in Opera you need to save my script as a .js file instead of a .user.js file in your user scripts folder

Ummm... It doesn't...

Thank you.

In the script code I read "ego_header", if I remove this word from the script, the "Suggestion" section appears. Ok.

Does it at least remove the ads instantly now?
