It would be nice to have the script tailorable, particularly for colors. For example, on my monitor (and with my eyes), #ffffe8 is almost invisible for the background of the last read post. I plowed through the script, found it, and changed it to #ffffaa (which is much easier for me to see). It would be handy if either there was a dialog or the settings were clearly commented near the top of the script.
