Makes Gmail slow?

I installed the latest version, and this was making typing in gmail compose window too slow!! I was trying to figure out what's the reason, and finally I found out that disabling this script made it fast again ... Could you find out what would make it so slow ... probably the previous versions did not do it and it might be a recent thing ... I'm using Firefox 3.6. |

I figured out it was this script specifically that was causing my gmail composing to go dreadfully slow. I'm really bummed because I sooooo want this notifier, but I just can't keep it if it has this side effect. Any ideas why this might be happening on my computer? |

I updated it and changed the way it works. Hopefully it has fixed any slowness in gmail. |

Nope the slowniness is still there.A hefty 200MB memory leak and extra 30% CPU usage.No wonder it slows to a crawl when composing a mail. |
