This script is completely recreated to disallow this auto-complete/suggestions functionality in the google site - in the Firefox searchbox the suggestions are still there don't worry. |

This script sounds like a good idea, since the google autocomplete feature effectively disables the FF "find as you type" feature. However, the script did not work for me. In any case, to disable google autocomplete, you simply click the "instant is on" link to the right of the search box and select "Off" to shut it down. |
