Bigger Viewing Area

I absolutely love this script and have been using it within Lifehacker's Better Greader Firefox extension for some time now. However, I would like to suggest a change. When previewing a website within Google Reader, the preview windows feels a little too small to me. It feels sometimes like viewing the website through a peephole. So I am suggesting if the preview window could be bigger or could a feature be added to customize the size of the preview window. I am attaching two screenshots from my 15" laptop. On bigger screens like my 24" monitor the "peephole" feeling is somewhat increased. I think increasing the preview size will give a better view of the webpage instead of a small sliver. Well I downloaded the script separately and successfully edited the correct line, line 202, that changes the preview height. After disabling the Better Greader and restarting Firefox I tested out different pixel heights to get one that filled out my screen a little more. However, the preview button was missing and clicking on the title wasn't working, pressing Shift+V still worked though. I don't know why that is, all I changed was the pixel height. I'm not much of an scriptwriter, but I'm pretty good at figuring stuff out. The problem I foresee would be that changing the pixel value to a larger number would obviously not work for everyone, so it needs to be editable easily within the Better Greader extension. And I have no idea how that would work. |

bump? Is there any possibly to getting this done? Yes? No? |

This is a great idea i'm sure everyone would love to see implemented, but seeing as this script doesn't even function without a fix (http://userscripts.org/topics/18585#posts-81472), I doubt the author will ever get around to it. |
