Adding the following two strings has cleared my feeds of pretty much all the crapware/spamware applications. "i got it just for you!",
I highly recommend adding these to the official version. ;) If I can get the time, I may try whipping up a patch to add a config dialog so more strings can be added and saved with the Greasemonkey config. On an interesting sidenote, Facebook has quietly changed the way that blocking apps works, in that it will now cause the app to disappear from *all* views -- not just your feeds, but also when looking at other users' profiles. For the first time in a very long time, I think FB has done something right. |
