1. What can it do? Craigslist Fusion is a plugin for Firefox using with Grease monkey plugin. a) Quick use After installation, go to a Craigslist site, and do a search, or click on some listing. You should see new Craigslist listing with image previews. Mouse hovering over an image thumbnail or the post title and you should see window popup showing the larger size image and the posting detail respectively. b) Features
a) Preference window. The preference window can be accessed by going to Craigslist, and at the bottom right hand corner, where the Grease Monkey icon is shown, right click, go to the User Script Commands, and Craigslist Fusion Preferences. Another way is to hover over a link to see the detail window, then click on "Preferences" link in the detail sub-window.
b) Image thumbnails
c) Large image resize The large image can be resize to fit the sub-window (which can also be resized using the mouse), or keep it original. This can be toggle with the preference "Scale preview image". It's more appropriate to call it "Scale Large Image" or something to that effect. I will change that later.
d) Disable large image f you don't want to see the large image window when mouse over the photo, then uncheck "Show image window" f) Disable post detail The same for posting detail window using the preference "Show posting detail window"
g) Auto layout/docking The preference "Auto Layout Preview Windows" is used to indicate should the large image window and the detail sub-window should automatically be attached to the right hand side. The width can always be changed by using the mouse to resize the left hand size of the window. The height is automatically set. You can always drag the window around in either mode. But the preference set the default behavior when first going to the listing page. h) Activate the image/detail window Click/Mouse over to show large image or detail posting Using the preference "Show detail on mouse over" and "Show image on mouse over", you can indicate whether the sub-window for large image/detail posting be updated when you point the mouse over a link/thumbnail, or when you click on it. i) Set my address for use with Google Map This is used for showing a driving direction from your house to the posting location. If security is your concern, enter an address near your house, such as a business address, street corner address, or your nice neighbor's address. j) My blind carbon copy email (BCC) If you have another address to copy any email message you send out, this can be set for that purpose. k) Pre-drafted email templates This feature saves you a lot of time. Go to a posting detail sub window, and click on "Manage Email Templates"
- Click on "Edit Templates" drop down, and select an existing template or the default one. Change the template name, the content to your pleasure, and then click "Save".
You can't change the template name directly. Changing it will create another one. Just delete the original one after that. That's all. If there is something I missed, or you want to ask/suggest, please let me know. |

When sending emails via Gmail I can only send one message and have to re-start Gmail. Is this the way you have it set up? When trying to send the second email my Gmail loads up to 90% and then it stops. Please tell me what to do to be able to send several emails without having to re-start Gmail and deleting my cookies. Great script. |

David, please check to see if you have the latest version of the Firefox browser. Also try to exit and run Firefox again. I didn't have any problem sending emails again after the 1st time. I understand that after sending the email, the window for the email closes automatically. However, if you use Craigslist Fusion to send again, it would open another window and allow you to send again. If you want to just open Google mail to use it, then please just open another tab, and go to Google mail normally. You may also double check to see if you have any plugins/extensions that may cause this issue. Btw, would you please open another discussion thread to post this, and delete this issue here because it's not related to the user guide post above? Thanks. |

is it possible to include the ability of inserting a picture from my computer into the body of my emails or if not then could you possibly provide that feature with your next version? |

There are probably 2 ways to do it. They're not the way you described. Due to security, I don't think it'll be easy to access any picture. It probably can be done in a plugin, but not Greasemonkey script.
