I know this script is no longer actively maintained, but I was wondering if anyone had a script or knew enough to write a small one to create a shortcut to:
1) Mark selected message(s) as read and then archive them
and/or
2) Mark carrot-ed '>' message as read and then archive it

I haven't been able to find one, but with google's own modified keystrokes you can do this in a couple of keys:
* Mark selected messages as read (by default I think this might be 'r', but I have it mapped to 'y'. Archive is 'e'. So 2 keystrokes.
* as far as the carroted ones, you can save a quick search to pull those up, do a mark all, then archive. Maybe.
