Awful Yearbook is supposed to be a light wieght social network site. Although it states it is not affiliated with Something Awful site, a AYB user has to pay SA a ten dollar fee and join SA to gain access to AYB. The site is sadly filled with thugs whom openly bash gays, transexuals, blacks, and females. AYB statistics show male users at around 13,000, and female users at around 2,000. Unfortunately, the creator "Fletch" a SJSU student, supports, allows, and revels in these wrongful discriminating acts by publicly humiliating, banning, and announcing the users names in a public list for over 14,000 to see, with his personal accusation against them, whether the accusation is true or false, the users reputation is ruined, then he bans the user and they have no chance of defend theirselves. So, to get rid of a intelligent, opinionated female user, "Fletch" may accuse her of being a male, post this accusation, and ban her, leaving her humiliated, and with no chance of clearing her name. A persons gender/race should be private on questioneers and not forced public, discrimination is a crime. AYB does not list gender choice as a rule for banning, nor a list of banable rules in their site. AYB also offers no email address for resolutions nor a company name on their outer site space. Best advice, I wouldn't waste my time and money, unless you like being abused and humiliated.
