I am mainly interested in a way to track each video of a favorite star.
to know whether it is in my collection or not.

I want a [+] in the actors page, just behind their name.
when you click the [+] in the actors page,
the main show page will show that actors name in bold.
so any movie their in, their name can be easily seen,
in the cast list.

and to reduce traffic on imdb, only do the "where have i seen" function on the names checked, not any others.

as a general rule, if I had to ask my self "where have i seen that actor before",
I do not really want to know. If I wanted to know, I would already know.
but I cant remember every movie that a favorite actor may have had a small part in, this is where I think you script is most useful, or when I go through movie pages cast list and the name of a favorite actor is buried in there. making that name easier to see would really help.

thanks for you efforts on this script, it works great.

Glad it works! Yours is an interesting suggestion, I'll have to think about it.

It seems that what you want to know is rather different from what I want to know :-), so it needs some thought whether it would work smoothly to have both in the same script, or whether it would be better to write a new one that does what you want. (Usually I don't care about actors or even know their names until I've seen them in a few different movies, so that's where this script comes in. If I care about a specific actor, I can just look at their page and see the list of movies…) I'm a bit busy right now, but I'll try to imagine how it should work... thanks for the suggestion!

In the meantime, to avoid getting the "where have I seen" for all actors, you can click on the "…" next to just the names you want.
