works well but curious...

I tested this, and it works masterfully. For anyone who doesn't like the Ajax-based "more" button, this is the ticket. However I'm wondering what's so bad about the Ajax scripting -- it's pretty darned elegant, and it's kinda nice to see the additional content append itself to the old, allow one to scroll back and forth through as much or as little data as desired. Is it that the Ajax scripts crashes certain browsers within certain configurations? |

Thanks. :-) I browse profiles and favorites a lot. I like seeing progress, as defined by changing URL – URL I can copy, share, bookmark or return later. “More” navigation is very neat if you’re looking for 2-3 pages of content. Can you imagine reading 30 pages of favorite tweets (ex-Favrd crowd is saving thousands of funny tweets, literally) like this? Plus, it breaks history and forces Twitter to use atrocities like http://twitter.com/timeline/favorites/?page=2 or http://twitter.com/#home. |
