Hello, thank you for your script, very useful. The only problem is that VKI not work into the Google search box. I have Opera 10.10 Build 1893. Thank you for help.
Best regards.

I think the script is too old. I had the same problem. It didn't work on same version of opera as yours. So i instaled greasemonkey plugin for firefox. After that i instaled vki and it worked. I searched where greasemonkey installed the scripts and i found out it. The script was slightly bigger, 64kb the original and 83kb the modified version. The modified version works on opera 10.10. It think grease monkey has upgraded, and so has opera userjs. But while greasemonkey converts old code to new code, opera doesn't do that.
Long story short: this version should work http://rapidshare.com/files/327649179/virtual_k...
You probably know how to install it.
I am don't know javascript programming so i am not very sure if my explanation is right.

Version 1.31 using Opera 10.10 (my default browser) has always worked on the Google search box for me. At least the one on their front page. The script is not too old :P , and don't download any alternate versions as I can't guarantee that they are not malware. Plus Rapidshare sucks. Yep, I said it.

Can you give me a google URI on which the keyboard fails to attach to the input?

Edit: Okay, I just checked the Rapidshare version and there is no difference between that version and the one available from userscripts.org

@renatob it works for me. Are you sure you don't have another UserJS which acts on google.it that may be conflicting with the keyboard?

Are you getting any kind of Javascript error in the console when you double click the input?

Yes, I have no problems on any of those pages, also using Opera 10.10 in Windows.

Are all of your other installed user scripts from USO? Can you post links to them? I'd like to try setting up an install with exactly the same scripts.
