Known issues

There are a few known issues with this, which will get fixed if/when I get annoyed enough with them: 1. The recently played and upcoming lists display near the top of the page, and opening them scrolls the page up. This will probably annoy me and get fixed first, but that still might take a month or so. 2. The list of web radio stations and the tracklisting in playlist mode display near the top of the page, but opening them doesn't scroll the page, which is almost more annoying. This will probably get fixed at the same time as the above, because it's similar. 3. In playlist mode, the track progress thingy is too wide. This may never get fixed, because I rarely listen to playlists while reading blog posts, plus it's only slightly annoying. |

Great hacking. I wrote the R3 Player and I'm stoked that you wrote this script. We're hoping to create a "lite" statically positioned player somewhere on the page in the future. It was in the original designs of the new site but we were constrained for time. Any feedback you have on the player is appreciated, especially from css wizards. Take a spin around the source code... |

I'm glad you like it! I don't have any feedback right now, really, but if I think of anything I'll let you know. |

Two more known issues that I might fix eventually: 4. If the browser window is short enough, then scrolling to the bottom of the page will cause the player to overlap the footer. I probably won't fix this; if I do, it will probably be by rearranging the footer or something. 5. The "You must be logged in to comment" notice is now covered by the submit button. I'll move it to the left when I fix something else, maybe. |
