ctrl+f5 wouldnt solve the problem once it is not a local buffer issue

sometimes it is. it wouldnt work right now though since they didnt actually change it yet.
@ekb: give it another day

@JoeSimmons

A few hours lag is understandable - but days? Anyway - it's not the end of the world if my avatar doesn't update that fast.

I'm also posting in here to let the site mods know there's a possible site problem and to see if it's happening to other people.

its not a site problem. they want to save bandwidth so they check like every 36 hours or something like that. i had the same waiting period.

us.o hasn't anything to do with that problem.
gravatar caches their images and that's why your avatar is the same here (us.o) or in any other site that uses gravatar.
we all have to wait to see your new avatar

@ekb: seems like its been too long now. Make sure your settings are correct @ gravatar. Shoot them an e-mail if you have it set right.

It immediately appeared and I all I did was update it - I didn't do any profile stuff. But I'll assume it's a problem on at gravatar since nobody has but me has said they've had problems.

The problem doesn't have anything to do with userscripts.org
