No refresh while in focus + Chrome support

I know you just released a Firefox extension of Better iGoogle, but I just switched to Chrome, and while it supports some user scripts, apparently this isn't one of them, as it seems to have no function. I'm using the Dev channel build, and I'm already rocking Adblock+, but I'm missing the hell outta iGoogle, to the point where I still leave a Firefox window open to it. Also, there is the problem of feeds (and/or feeds above them) refreshing while I am reading the tooltip preview. Is there any way to get the page to refresh only when it isn't in focus, so it only happens in the "background?" And thanks for the mouseover position update. I would have said to copy the windows right click menu, but you seem to have improved on that. |

Does the dev channel build support the GM_* API yet? If not, then there is no hope of this working with Chrome. Feeds refreshing while hovering... yeah, this annoys me sometimes too. I will note that down and put in a fix for that at some point. And it's not even just a problem of the feed you're looking at refreshing, but ones above, too. It's annoying. One thing I want to change is to make it so the feed stories stay as they are when refreshing, so the box doesn't "collapse" and then the same stories pop in. That can be avoided. I'll hopefully make another update sometime after thanksgiving. |

I'm not sure. Here's some info: http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-docum... * Chromium does not support @require, @resource, unsafeWindow, GM_registerMenuCommand, GM_setValue, or GM_getValue.

Right, if it doesn't support those GreaseMonkey functions, then this script will not work. Once it supports the GreaseMonkey API correctly, this script should probably work correctly in Chrome. |
